Steering Components

Vehicles that are old or that have been abused often need to have their steering linkage replaced. Over time, plastic in the front axle holders loosens and stretches, causing the axles and steering pins to wobble. Abuse or excessive weight in the vehicle can exacerbate the problem

Signs that your steering linkage needs to be replaced:

  • Sagging or wobbly front wheels
  • Extremely loose steering
  • Wheels that are misaligned or that are "toed-out"

Replacing front steering linkage often requires replacing accompaning bushings and cap nuts where needed.
