Pedals and shifters are crucial to Power Wheels vehicles operating properly. Shifters and pedals can become damaged when vehicles are stored in damp areas, left outside in the rain, or not properly dried after being cleaned with water.

Signs of a failing shifter:

• Vehicle goes forward, but not reverse (or vice versa)
• Vehicle goes forward and reverse, but lacks either Hi or Lo speeds in forward direction

Signs of a failing foot pedal assembly:

• Vehicle works intermittently when pedal is pressed.
