Harper s simple geometric shapes, patterns, and vivid colors succinctly express the essence of each creature he portrayed.
Harper s posters have been published by more than fifty nature- and conservation-oriented organizations, including this one, his first, for the Cincinnati Nature Center in 1977. They have become some of his most enjoyed works skillful and playful menageries of local wildlife.
