How do I earn points?
Every time you make a purchase on OakridgeStores.com you will earn 5 Acorns (points) per $1 spent. Please see the "Ways To Earn Points" section of our Rewards page to learn about other ways to earn points.
When will I see points on my account after placing an order?
Points will be credited to your account after you place an order. They will show as “pending” during a grace period of 24 hours after you make your purchase.
How can I check my points balance?
You can check your points balance by logging into your account on our website and visiting our rewards page
Do points expire?
Yes, points expire after 6 months of inactivity. Inactivity refers to customers who have yet to earn or redeem any points through a completed purchase. You will be notified 30+ days in advance of your points expiring.
Does my tier status expire?
Yes, once you qualify for a tier, you will remain in that tier for 12 months unless you upgrade to a higher tier within the year. Once you upgrade your status, the 12-month time period restarts.
Can I redeem all my points at once?
You have the option to redeem your points however you choose. We offer several redemption increments starting at $5 up to $400 discount depending on your tier status.
When will I receive points after referring a friend?
Once your friend completes their purchase of $25+ using your referral link, you will receive points from referring a friend. Refer-a-friend codes can only be used by new customers.
When will I receive birthday points?
Points will be issued via email on your birthday. If you enter a birthday that has passed, you will receive points the following year.
Can I earn points when shopping locally at your store?
Yes, for your convenience, points can also be earned while shopping locally at Oakridge's Old Mill Shoppe and Oakridge Hobbies & Toys in Lemont, IL. However, when you have physically selected the items you wish to purchase, you will need to make your final purchase online, at OakridgeStores.com, with your mobile device, and during check out, choose "pickup at store". Then present your order transaction confirmation email to our check out clerk, so that our team can further confirm the completed purchase within our online and point-of-sale systems in-store. You will be required to sign a printed copy of your invoice for proof of purchase and receipt, and that's all there is to it.
You'll be able to keep track of your points earned online in your account.
You can also earn points while placing special orders, for items not in-stock at our local store, but located at one of our warehouses, in the same manner. You will receive an email and a call from one of our team when your item(s) is ready for pickup.
You can also use your past earned points when making a purchase locally at Oakridge's Old Mill Shoppe and Oakridge Hobbies & Toys.
*NOTE: All Radio Control and Trading Card Game and related accessories purchases still require credit card check out through the PayPal gateway (no PayPal account necessary).
