North American B-25 Mitchell was a moderate American bomber from World War II. It was designed in 1939 and flew the following year. Structurally, it is a twin-engine aircraft with three-point chassis, double rudder direction and wide hull. It was the first bomber aircraft that could take off from the aircraft carrier's deck after modifications. The most famous B-25 combat action during World War II was the rally of Lt Col Doolittle to the Japanese islands in April 1942. A squadron of these aircraft carried out an airstrike on Tokyo. Aircraft of this type were also delivered to the Soviet Union in aid of Lend-Lease. From the world of COBI comes a model of the American North American B-25 Mitchell bomber.
