Just like it's larger brother, this dragon is made from cabinet grade quality Baltic Birch, the 125+ interlocking pieces in this Long-Horned Winged Skeletal Dragon puzzle model kit require no hardware or glue to assemble. An excellent exercise in shape recognition and spatial reasoning, assembling the puzzle requires patience and careful attention to detail. Younger dragon slayers may possibly require the assistance of an adult. But the rewards are great as you transform a pile of scattered dragon bones into an impressive scale replica of “Draigomortis“ the Skeletal Dragon of Death, which in Indo-European folklore has been estimated to stand an average 40-60 feet tall. It is definitely a striking piece. The wings can be positioned back as shown standing, or spread and ready for flight, an over 60” wing span, if you chose to hang Draigomortis from your ceiling (base removed) by its backbone. Once the puzzle kit is assembled, you can leave it standing as a impressive display piece, or permanently glue it together and custom paint it with a flat base coat with accented highlights (see our studio custom painted flat black & flat dark grey finished Draigomortis photos), or disassemble it for future use. Though this kit is made of high quality cabinet grade Birch plywood, and is pre-sanded and buff-cleaned of most rough edges and loose strands and pieces, sandpaper may be required to aid in the assembly process.
