The low-voltage soldering iron works with any 10 watt or larger 12-volt Cir-Kit Concepts' transformer or 12-volt car battery. Heats to solder melting temperature in 3 to 4 minutes. Safest soldering iron yet. Use with CK1033-1 solder. CIR-KIT ELECTRICAL SUPPLIES. COMMENTS: Many hobby and miniature items are very fragile and/or may contain small parts, so adult supervision is always recommended as small parts and pieces could cause a choking hazard.
