    Really nice peanut feeder!

    This feeder is excellent! The squirrels and chippies just love opening the lid to get their treats! It mounted easily to a post and the soft closing lid is nice, as it does not make a noise that my older feeder did which scared the birds away. It is well constructed and looks very nice under my bird feeding station. The price is also very, very reasonable. The little critters will enjoy this feeder for a long time.

    Destroyed in a week

    Very disappointing. Instead of using the flip lid, the squirrels managed to just shred the wood, to the point that within a week they wore so much of it down that they got to grooves holding the plexiglass insert, giving it no where to situate and hold the food in. Making the whole thing useless. Thank you to Oakridge for offering a refund though.
