The AFV Color Series consists of a comprehensive collection of color sets designed to assist the modeller in all steps of painting the models of armoured and combat vehicles. The colors have been carefully developed to allow for a faithful reproduction of the historical shades of the colors used, following the norms, military nomenclatures and operational background. In the design of some of these sets we have been assisted by historical and military specialists adjoined to museums and historical societies.

The set contains the colors to paint the camouflages of the Imperial Japanese Army (IJA) and includes the pattern for HA-Go Early Camouflage colors in China & Pacific 1937-1942 and the CHI-HA Late Camouflage colors implemented in 1942.

Water-based Acrylicos Vallejo high quality Model Air paint is formulated especially for airbrushing straight from the bottle . . . no thinning or special mixing is required. Made with finely-ground pigments and airbrush-perfect viscosity, Model Air goes on smoothly and covers well, even with just a thin coat. Tiny surface details won't be obliterated, and the resulting matte finish is durable and waterproof. The consistency of Model color allows for an extremely smooth and uniform paint film, with no trace of brushstrokes. Non-toxic and odor-free, airbrushes clean up easily by rinsing with water.
