KATO N/HO Power Pack Standard SX (KAT-220181)

The Kato Standard SX Power Pack is designed to keep your HO and N Scale standard DC trains running smoothly. Revised in 2018, this power pack is 100% compatible with all Unitrack electrical accessories and is an in kind replacement for previous Kato power packs. It is also upgradeable with alternative AC adapters that will allow greater output for larger layouts (sold separately).

Kato has released a revamped Power Pack design, having retired the old 22-014 Power Pack. This new Power Pack comes with a new body design, while still being 100% compatible with all past accessories such as turnout control switches and signal power supplies.

The new 220181 Power Pack Standard SX can also be upgraded with alternative A/C Adapters that will allow it to output greater voltage and amperage, for operating larger train layouts. Of course - the base controller will still come with an A/C Adapter for out-of-the-box operation!

The new Power Pack Standard SX will also be found in Kato's boxed track sets such as the M1 and M2 Master Series Oval Sets.
